The education and collaboration event was organized by the Greek education partner, ARTIFACTORY, in collaboration with the project coordinator, Konya Metropolitan Municipality. The event was attended by project partners, young people, youth workers, and cultural organizers.

The event also provided information about the Collaboration Learning Environment and Education Program, which are key components of the GET2ACTION projects. The project aims to increase its long-term impact by focusing on the development of products and services for heritage tourism and cultural organizations, which are the two significant Intellectual Outputs of the project.

ALBACETE

The recent Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of the GET2ACTION initiative took place on February 5-6, 2024, at the Biblioteca Pedro Simón Abril in Albacete, Spain. This meeting brought together representatives from various partner organizations to discuss the progress of the project aimed at empowering young people for more active civic and cultural participation through engagement with local and European cultural heritage.

Key Agenda Items

The meeting kicked off with a warm welcome from the Dramblys team and progressed into a series of collaborative discussions focusing on various project components.

Project Management and Work Packages

Dr. Kevser Çınar from NEU shared updates on project management, emphasizing the need for all partners to submit missing documents, including secondment letters and timesheets. The importance of ongoing dissemination activities for the Intellectual Outputs (IOs), particularly IO1 (Training Program) and IO2 (Creativity Lab), was highlighted.

  • Local Workshops: KMM announced plans to present the beta version of the project’s web platform, which will undergo testing through local workshops organized in each partner country. SEALS and CIP will facilitate a virtual meeting to explain the functions of the IO2, particularly the Miro Board.

  • Multimedia and Social Media Campaigns: Partners discussed upcoming social media campaigns, with KMM and CIP coordinating efforts to engage wider audiences.

Intellectual Outputs and Sustainability

The TPM delved into the Intellectual Outputs hosted on the GET2ACTION web platform. NEU reported that IO1 training materials are nearing completion but will require refinements. SEALS proposed enhancements to the IO2 Creativity Lab, incorporating gamification elements and leveraging AI to enrich the creative outputs.

A draft sustainability plan was also discussed, detailing stakeholders, project activities, and potential post-project initiatives.

Impact Workshop

The afternoon session featured an Impact+ Workshop led by DRAMBLYS, focusing on the project's broader impact. The workshop utilized the Impact+Tool framework, allowing participants to brainstorm and identify various impacts related to staff, partner organizations, systemic change, and learners. The collaborative effort culminated in a Miro board document that captures the insights and contributions of each partner organization.

Visual Storytelling

A key highlight of the meeting was the decision to create a visual narrative that would encapsulate the essence of the TPM and align with the theme of local cultural heritage. Attendees agreed to gather photos and videos from significant locations around Albacete, showcasing the city's rich history and cultural offerings.

Conclusion

The Albacete TPM was a fruitful gathering that strengthened the collaboration between partners and set the stage for the next phases of the GET2ACTION project. The discussions not only reaffirmed the commitment to enhancing civic engagement among young people but also paved the way for innovative approaches to cultural participation. As the project progresses, the collective efforts and insights gathered during this meeting will undoubtedly contribute to the project's success and its impact on the communities involved.

KONYA

On June 26, 2024, the Get2Action project hosted its final transnational project meeting (TPM) in Konya, Türkiye. This gathering brought together partners to reflect on the project’s progress, share experiences, and strategize for the future.

Key Highlights of the Meeting

The meeting began with partners presenting the results of their local workshops and multiplier events, which focused on testing the Creativity Lab platform. Each partner shared insights into user experiences, engagement levels, and the feedback received from participants. This collaborative evaluation allowed the team to validate the platform and identify areas for improvement, particularly concerning youth and museum professionals.

A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to discussing sustainability. Partners explored strategies for ensuring the long-term impact of the project results. The conversation emphasized the importance of integrating the Creativity Lab into future activities and training programs. Commitments were made to maintain the platform and its associated resources for at least two years following the project’s conclusion, fostering ongoing engagement with stakeholders and broadening the reach of the Get2Action initiative.

The partners also reflected on best practices and lessons learned throughout the project. Several participants shared their successful strategies for organizing workshops and events, highlighting methods that effectively engaged both youth and museum staff. The challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic were also discussed, particularly how virtual collaboration tools helped overcome travel restrictions and maintain strong communication among partners.

Another crucial aspect of the meeting was the development of a comprehensive capitalization and dissemination strategy. Partners agreed on a plan to continue promoting the Creativity Lab across various channels, including conferences, seminars, and online platforms. This strategy aims to share the BRICKme methodology with new audiences, ensuring the project's outputs reach as many stakeholders as possible.

As the meeting progressed, partners reviewed their final interim reports and ensured that all required documentation, such as participant lists, photos, and presentations, were uploaded to the Get2Action Google Drive. This step was essential to comply with the National Agency’s reporting requirements.

Conclusion

The final TPM in Konya marked a significant achievement for the Get2Action project, highlighting the collaborative spirit and commitment of all partners. As they concluded the meeting, there was a strong sense of shared purpose and determination to carry forward the project’s vision. By ensuring the sustainability and continued dissemination of the Creativity Lab, partners are poised to extend the impact of their work beyond the project's official funding period, creating lasting benefits for the communities and stakeholders involved.
